Wayne's
Words
Jesus spent much time in prayer. He
taught the disciples how to pray. He told them they should watch and
pray. He recognized the importance of prayer for His own life as well as
for His disciples.
The Bible has much to say about
prayer: our need for prayer; our consistency in prayer; and our attitude
in prayer. I think it would be good for each of us to examine our prayer
lives in light of the Scripture.
I found the following story
humorous, but with a good lesson as well:
Right praying: A young lady
concluded her prayers with a modest appeal: “I’m not asking for
myself, but please send my mother a son-in-law.”
Remember the words
of Jesus, “ASK - SEEK - KNOCK” Matthew 7:7
