Wayne's
Words
February, the month of LOVE, FLOWERS, CANDY, and VALENTINES! Let’s
all make Ephesians 3:14-19 our theme Scripture for the month.
Grace is a BUSY place with LOTS of activities going on. Women’s Breakfast, Men’s
Breakfast, Good Twins Concert, FOCUS French Restaurant Dinner,
Congregational Meeting, small in-home group meetings, and Ensemble
practice. If you can’t find something to be involved in, you probably
aren’t looking very hard.
Get plugged in and
make it great is 2008.

UPDATE ON SB777
“SAVE OUR KIDS”
Save Our Kids is excited to announce
that the campaign was able to obtain more than 350,000 signatures for
the SB777 Referendum. While we didn’t match the threshold of required
signatures (434,000) we have surprised political observers with the
amazing amount of signatures gathered in just 7 days by a completely
volunteer-driven campaign. Because of the enormous support for
overturning SB777, Save Our Kids has filed an initiative with the
Attorney General’s office to overturn the new law. “This initiative
will give us double the amount of time to gather the signatures, while
accomplishing the same goal of eliminating the extreme language of
SB777. Many California citizens are just now finding out about SB777 and
are outraged. By filing the initiative, we will give even more citizens
the opportunity to voice the anger over the passage of the radical
bill.” Saveourkids.org will continue to serve as the online
headquarters for overturning SB777.
Thank you for your support,
Senator George Runner
(Lancaster, Ca area)
