Wayne's Words

This Sunday is the day we celebrate the GREATEST DAY in the history of the world. It’s the day God demonstrated His victory over sin, death, and hell. It’s the day He proved His LOVE for mankind could not be defeated. It’s also the day He made VICTORY possible for us. II Corinthians 15:57 “...thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” This victory rests on the RESURRECTION  of Jesus.

Jesus’ own words to the Apostle John in Revelation reminds us, “I am the first, and the last, and the LIVING One; and I WAS dead, and behold, I AM alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and Hades.” Rev. 1:17-18

CELEBRATE THE VICTORY THIS SUNDAY!

Pastor Wayne

Our prospective senior pastor and his wife will be with us on Sunday, April 6th for our worship service. A Meet & Greet will be held from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the Route 66 room, with Women of Grace providing refreshments.

Immediately after worship service on Sunday, April 6th a special Congregational Meeting will be held regarding the hiring of the prospective senior pastor. Please mark your calendar to attend this very important worship service and meeting.

A BIG “THANK YOU” to Dorris Peters, and the Curry girls for taking on the task of cleaning up the kitchen and making it sparkle!

The Administrative Council would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped spruce up and paint Carl Morrow’s house to get it ready for sale.

And a special thank you to Judy Megee, Barbara Neptune and their crew for setting up the garage sale which netted close to $1,000.00.
