  • Announcement March 22, 2020

    Dear Grace Family,

As new information emerges and expert guidelines shift, we want to continue to respond with love and wisdom. As we announced last week, in line with the latest guidelines, we are officially suspending all church activities at GCCC until further notice.  We will let you know when this changes. Please continue to check our Facebook and website for future updates. Everyone is being inconvenienced by social distancing, events being canceled and schools are closing.  We pray we would be utilizing this extra time at home to draw closer to God and our families.  This is an opportunity for all of us to become more aware of the needs of those around us.

Here's what we are doing to keep each person engaged in our church:

    1. All our Sunday services will be online for you to enjoy. You can find the messages on our website at Graceceres.org or our church Facebook account at “Grace Community Christian Church, Ceres, Ca.” All messages will be posted for you to watch on your own time by Sunday morning at 10:00am.

    2. We will be contacting everyone to update our records to be sure that all of our contacts information is up to date and that everyone knows where to go for the latest information.

    3. We've launched a GCCC Members Connect Group page through Facebook to keep us all better connected.  Invites will be sent out or you can join by going to our GCCC Facebook Page. “Grace Community Christian Church, Ceres, Ca.” This will be a place where we can come together as a church in a positive atmosphere to ask for prayer, encourage one another and figure out as a group how to meet the needs of others in our community.

In times of disruption, the Church is at her best.  There are many ways to do that for example; offering to help older folks shop or run errands. We are looking for those people to serve in any way they can. This is our calling as the church: to lead and love those God has surrounded us with. We as a church have always rallied in difficult times and we will rally again in this season. So with that we ask two things: please continue to love those around you and please continue to support GCCC by faithfully giving during this time of uncertainty.

Join us in bringing hope and kindness to those around us as we live out our church decrees to Love God, Love People and Serve the World. Remember our world is not just this vast planet we call Earth but it is our neighbors, our families and our community in which we live.

  • Announcement March 15, 2020

Dear Grace family, After much prayerful consideration and seeking the Lord for guidance, our concern goes out for the most vulnerable members of our community. We, along with other churches in our community and throughout this area, are suspending our live services for the next 2 weekends, March 15th, and March 22nd. Please be in prayer for those in our church who are most vulnerable to being impacted by this virus and also pray for our leadership team to know how best to respond to the future needs of our community. As challenging as this situation is; we believe there is going to be an opportunity to rally as a church, bring support, and be a calming voice of peace in the midst of what feels like a rough storm. We don’t know what the future holds, but we do know who holds it. We will be reassessing the situation after March 22nd to see how it will impact further Sundays. As of right now, this applies only to this Sunday, March 15th and next Sunday March 22nd.We’d love for you to join us online as we will be posting our service to our website; www.graceceres.org and our church Facebook page - Grace Community Christian Church, Ceres, CA . Also please check into both sites for future announcements.John 16:33, I have said these things to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.1 Peter 5:7 Casting all you anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. God Bless and stay well.GCCC Elders
