• Children's Ministry

Nursery - Newborn through 24 Months

Nursery care for infants through 24 months is available during Sunday service, 9:00 a.m. and 10:45 am

From their earliest days, we want our children to know the joy of learning about Jesus. Our goal is to provide your children with a safe, healthy environment in which to develop a faith in Jesus that will carry on into adulthood. Our nursery lessons will introduce your children to the Bible truths through songs, stories, and prayer. Your child will learn:

    • God loves and cares for me

    • God made everything

    • Jesus, God's Son loves me.

Ages 2-5 and Kindergarten - Joyful Junction

All children ages 2 through 5 & Kindergarten meet on Sunday mornings at 10:45 a.m.

Joyful Junction is the beginning of a journey towards learning God's love and growing up in the Lord. During these teachable times, we try to get children involved with the lesson. They may be one of the characters and act the story or see an object lesson. Songs are sung, pictures are colored. We feel that the most important lesson your child will learn is that they are loved. Grades 1-6 - Route 66 All children grades 1 through 6 meet on Sunday mornings at 10:45 a.m. This age is more important in the development of your child's identity than you might know. These are the formation years where your child decides who they are going to be as an adult. We want to encourage your youth to find out how God fits into their life. We do this by sharing the Bible in a way that shows how God has impacted the lives of those who follow Him. We also encourage your child through:

    • Worship

    • Bible Lessons

    • Object Lessons

    • Offering

    • Communion

    • Games

    • Memory Verses

  • Grace Group

The best way to get involved and connected at Grace Community is through our small groups. The real heartbeat of our church is in our groups. This is really where loving people happens. In our "Grace Groups" we eat together, learn from God's Word, pray together, hang out, and model what being the church means. We are in it together in the good times as well as the hard ones. If you want to be a part of a Grace Group, contact the church office to find a group in your area . We would love for you to be a part of what God is doing at Grace Community. Church

  • Quilting Ministry

Our "Covered by Grace" quilting ministry has made and distributed hundreds of quilts to shut-ins, hospital patients, nursing home residents, hospice patients and people recovering from accidents and illness at home. They are hand-made and decorated with comforting Scripture verses.

  • Worship

My desire in serving is to be sensitive to God's leading as I arrange music for worship. I will be introducing new songs, singing the older praise choruses along with keeping the hymns of the faith. I know that music is an area that speaks to each of us differently in a personal way, so I ask for your prayers as I seek to find a balance that ultimately glorifies God. Please come see me if you have a talent in singing or playing an instrument and would like to be a part of leading worship through music, or, ... just come and meet me!

  • journey to bethlehem

    Journey to Bethlehem 2022: TBD

(Set Repairs and Construction in Progress)

Thursday and Friday Journeys begin at 7:00 p.m.

Saturday Journeys begin at 6:00 p.m.

Gate closes at 9:00 each evening (If you are inside the gate by 9:00 you may still take a Journey.)

Journey To Bethlehem is an interactive walking tour from the town of Nazareth to Bethlehem. The journey recreates the events that happened on the evening of Christ's birth. The journey begins as you become a part of a family (about 30 people) making a trip to Bethlehem to pay their taxes and be counted under the law of the land. The trip, which takes about 45 minutes, and is one mile in length, will provide you with a glimpse of the events of the times. Your journey will start as you look at a map & speak with the mapmaker who will direct you on your journey. Along the way you will meet with other families who are journeying to their birthplace. You will talk with the shepherds who have a magnificent story to tell about a baby that has been born in Bethlehem, and meet the three wise men who also are seeking this child. Your journey will be full of encounters with Roman Soldiers, both on horseback and in patrol teams. They will order you, "Jews" to comply with Roman Law. The mysterious appearance of an angel who announces the birth of Christ, and a visit to the Bethlehem marketplace will quicken your spirit and fill your senses. The culmination of the trip finds you visiting the inn where there is no room for your family to sleep, and finally the stable where you will discover the Christ child, Mary and Joseph. This is a family event and you are encouraged to bring your children. However, the path is very uneven and covered with wood chips, strollers and wheelchairs are not recommended. Please dress your family warmly as it is typically very cold and the event takes place outdoors. You are welcome to come as early as you wish to secure a spot in line - due to the overwhelming response each year, reservations cannot be made. Please be advised that some persons may have a difficult time completing the 45 minute walk. Directions To Journey: Journey is located on our 20 acre church site located at 3754 East Service Road, Ceres.
